Texas State academic dates to check first
Spring 2027 full-term classes begin January 19. Look up the part of term for each class before relying on any add, drop, or exam deadline.
In this guide
Find the right part of term
Start with the section in Self-Service. Match its term label to the registrar’s calendar and save the relevant deadline with the posted time.
Match the final to your meeting pattern
Find the published term schedule and match the class’s regular meeting pattern. Check the nonstandard schedule if the meeting time is missing, then confirm with your instructor.
Plan around the dates that affect you
Put your time ticket, first class, add and drop deadlines, and exam times on the same calendar. If you live off campus, check shuttle hours for exam week.
