Test your trip to Texas State before you sign a lease
Start with the building where you’ll spend the most time. Compare the walk, the wait, and the ride from each apartment at the time of your first and last class.
In this guide
Check the route on foot
Use the property address rather than the neighborhood name. On a tour, walk to the stop and check crossings, sidewalks, slopes, and lighting on the route you would use.
Check the return trip separately
A daytime route may have a different evening counterpart. Check Friday and weekend service if you expect to stay for work, study, or an event.
Include parking in the comparison
If you would drive, look up student parking eligibility and the distance from the lot to your building. Add parking charges at the property and on campus to your housing budget.
